A drilling rig comprises a support (1), two beam fasteners (2) mounted on the support, drilling beams (3) mounted on the beam fasteners, feed beams (4) mounted on each drilling beam, and a rock drilling machine (5) moved backwards and forwards on the feed beams. The beam fasteners are pivotably mounted on the support via a beam and arm, which combine with the beam fastener and support to form a parallelogram. A hydraulic cylinder is used to pivot the parallelogram about the beam and arm mounting fixtures on the support. |
