FIELD: centrifugal separation. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator has many essentially flat walls; first wall bounds vortex chamber having inner volume for gas forming at least one gas eddy in gas volume; volume for gas definite out-of-round cross section. In additional to standard outlet devices, separator is provided with gas intake hole having at least one elongated wall forming jet with free end section running to gas volume at first distance from first wall for forming required gas jet which is tangential relative to gas eddy in gas volume. Insert passes between end section of jet setting wall and first wall and describes surface changing direction of gas flow. Insert may be made in form of solid refractory material or may contain many circulating tubes for refrigerant and surface changing direction of gas flow may be flat or bent shape.
