<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette loading device usable even in either of a horizontal state or a vertical state. SOLUTION: The loading operation of a cassette tape T to a mechanism main body 2 is completed in such a manner that the cassette tape T is manually inserted from a tape inserting port 7a to make a clutch mechanism 20 in an ON state based on a detection signal of a 1st switch 51, a transporting mechanism 60 is driven by a driving source utilizing a capstan motor 11, and when the cassette tape T is ejected, the clutch mechanism 20 is made in an OFF state based on the detection signal of a 2nd switch 52 provided at the position to the side of the tape inserting port 7a than the position of the 1st switch 51. Thus, the device is usable in either cases of a horizontal state or a vertical state, since the cassette tape T is not finished to fall into the main body side of a VTR mechanism again by gravity even in the vertically placed state in which an operation panel is faced in the horizontal direction. Also, only the small force is enough for inserting the cassette tape to a cassette housing.</p> |
