PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which uniformly brings the front end of a regulating member into pressure contact with a roller, thereby carrying a uniform amount of toner by means of the roller. SOLUTION: The device 3 is composed so that developer held on the peripheral face of the roller 20 is regulated by a regulating member 24 in such a manner that the free end of the regulating member 24 supported by a housing 11 is brought into pressure contact with the peripheral face of the roller 20. In the case, reinforcing members (metal plates) 27 are fixed on the surface and back of the regulating member 24 along the housing-fixed part of the regulating member 24, and the regulating member 24 or both ends of at least either one of the reinforcing members 27 is fixed to the housing 11. |
