<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability and reliability of an air cylinder by arranging a foreign matter penetration preventing cover excellent in heat resistance. SOLUTION: A heat resistant cylindrical cover 8 whose front end is opened, is arranged at a front end on a normal pressure chamber 4 side in a cylinder body 1 so that it surrounds an operating rod 2 and also is communicated with the normal pressure chamber 4 through a vent hole 7 bored in the front end of the cylinder body 1, and a circular cover plate 9 which can be moved to the front end part of the cylindrical cover 8 when the operating rod 2 is projected is fitted to a rear end part in the cylindrical cover 8 in the operating rod 2 so that the peripheral surface of the circular cover plate 9 approaches the inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical cover 8.</p> |
