PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latex capable of bringing cellulose fibers to be dyeable with disperse dyes, being easily dispersed in a dope, less apt to coagulate during spinning, less apt to present problems caused by filter clogging and thread breakage, preventing reduction of fiber luster and improving color fastness to dyeing. SOLUTION: This latex for dyeing with disperse dyes is obtained by polymerizing in emulsion a mixture of radical-polymerizable monomers comprising anα,β-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid ester, an unsaturated carboxylic acid, a crosslinking monomer, an amide group-containing monomer and other monomers using a reactive surfactant and has 5-100 nm particle size.
