PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the lead wiring process from a heater control means for a thermistor or thermal heater to be furnished in association with a sheet- form heater which heats a fluorescent lamp of a back light, and to lessen the installing space of the sheet-form heater. SOLUTION: A sheet/form heater 4 is installed in a position confronting a fluorescent lamp 3 of long stretching form for projecting light to a light guide unit 2, and a printed board 5 equipped with heater control means 11 and 12 for temperature control of the heater 4 is connected with the heater 4 and laid over it 4. Thus a back light 1 is formed. Because the heater control means 11 and 12 are mounted on the board 5, the wiring process for leads from the heater control means 11 and 12 is simplified. It is no more required to set off a wiring space for the leads in the direction across the thickness of the heater 4, which allows lessening of the installing space of the heater.
