<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect a removing work of smoke and ash easily and quickly by a method wherein a treating device for smoke and ash in a flue is constituted of a scraper, arranged slidably in a horizontal zone, a tension wire, connected to both surfaces of the scraper and extended into the lengthwise direction of the horizontal zone, and a motor-driven winch, winding and winding off the tension wire. SOLUTION: A horizontal zone 1 is provided with the same section across the whole length of the same while a scraper 10 is provided with a scraping member having a lower side rim 11 coinciding with the profile of the bottom part 1a of the section of the horizontal zone 1 so as to be optimum for the scraping of smoke and ash. A tension wire 12 is connected to a surface of the scraper 10, which is faced to the end part A of the horizontal zone 1, while another tension wire 13 is connected to the other surface of the scraper 10, which is faced to the other end part B of the horizontal zone 1. A motor-driven winch 14a, winding and winding off the tension wire 13, and another motor-driven winch 15a, winding and winding off the tension wire 13, are installed at proper positions outside of the horizontal zone 1. According to this method, the smoke and ash can be treated easily and quickly whereby workability can be improved while contributing to the saving of a cost and working persons can be prevented from causing a disaster.</p> |
