<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the quantity of air blow to a battery pack and at the same time to heighten a battery cooling effect and a gas discharging effect. SOLUTION: A projected part 4 provided with a contact terminal 3 is installed in the outer face of the battery pack 2 containing a plurality of batteries 1 and this charging apparatus for charging the batteries 1 comprises an installation recessed part 9 provided with a charging terminal 8 and carries out charging by installing the projected part 4 in the installation recessed part 9. A ventilation port 10 is formed in the face in the side where the projected part 4 of the battery pack 2 is formed. A gas blowing port 11 is formed in the charging apparatus 6 at a position on the opposite to the ventilation port 10. A gas blowing fan 12 is installed at the lower position of the gas blowing port 11 and at the side position of the installation recessed part 9 in the charging apparatus 6. The wind from the gas blowing fan 12 is blown to the inside of the battery pack 2 from the gas blowing port 11 through the ventilation port 10.</p> |
