DEVICE FOR POSITIONING BRAKE STRIP FOR DISC BRAKE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a defect of needing to change a disc due to a low frequency vibration phenomenon generated in the case of the ununiformity of thickness of a brake strip becoming large. SOLUTION: At the time of connecting a brake disc 1 and a hub 2 of a wheel of a motorcycle, a spring 10 is provided between a screw 11 and a nipple 8. This spring 10 not only cooperates to connect members thermally expanded freely in axial and vertical directions, to each other but also can position the disc 1 at the center in relation to braking action attained by the contact with a pad 16. The disc 1 can be maintained in such a position during braking so as to avoid the extension of friction time likely to occur due to the onset of low frequency vibration of an engine and the irregular friction of a braking member acting in concert.
