<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data retrieval condition preparation method for making even a user inexperienced with a data base able to easily obtain appropriate retrieval conditions by displaying an operation screen capable of intuitively specifying a retrieval range at a display means and a data retrieval condition preparation device using the method. SOLUTION: Single conditional expressions prepared by the user and complicated conditional expressions for which the single conditional expressions are connected are respectively considered and handled as one term in a condition list display area 46 in a display screen 14a, the user prepares conditions just by repeating the setting of the logical connection relation of the two terms and the relation between the connected respective conditional expressions is illustrated and expressed in a condition detail display area in the display screen 14a. Then, since the user can refer to it at all times, the application of the conditional expression is intuitively understood and even the user lacking knowledge and experience to the data base easily prepares the appropriate retrieval conditions.</p> |
