摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the manufacture cost, and increase the sensitiveness of a magnetic field, by applying heat treatment to the sintered compact of a perovskite-type Mn oxide of La1-x Srx MnO3 (x is a specified value). SOLUTION: A magnetic resistor element 3 is one where a lead electrode 2 is made at the sintered compact of La1-x Srx MnO3 (but, 0<x<1). This sintered compact 1 is obtained by applying heat treatment of about one hour at each temperature of about 600 deg.C, 700 deg.C, 900 deg.C, 1,100 deg.C, 1,300 deg.C, and 1,500 deg.C, after calcinating each powder of Lax O3 , SrCO3 , and Mn3 O4 weighed at specified ratios at about 1100 deg.C for about five hours. What is more, the crushed grain diameter after calcination is about 0.5μm. The sintered compact obtained this way is cut and polished into about 0.1 mm in thickness, about 2.0 mm in width, and about 10 mm in length, and a silver electrode 2 is made on the topside, and it is made a magnetoresistance element 3. Hereby, as compared with the one using unheat-treated sintered compact, the sensitiveness of a magnetic field can be increased three times at maximum.
