PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plated formed body whose dimensional accuracy of a through-hole is not deteriorated by a plating layer by forming the plating layer with the ratio of the inside dimensions of a through-hole of the face on which the plating layer is formed to those of the hole in the surface of the plating layer corresponding to the through-hole specified on the surface of a substrate having the through-hole. SOLUTION: A sheet-shaped thermoplastic resin or a dry film is injected from the rear of a substrate 10 by a presser member, the softened resin is cooled from the face 10s side and cured to form a mask 50 having the protruding columnar part higher than a plating layer 20 formed on the substrate 10 byα, and the plating layer 20 is formed in such a state. When low-density PE is used in the masking material, the die shrinkage reaches the maximum of 5%. However, the ratio of the outside dimension (f) of the columnar part 50f of the mask to the inside dimension (a) of the through-hole 10a is adjusted to <=1.10 by optimizing the curing condition, and the plating layer with the ratio of the inside dimension (e) of the hole 20a in the plating layer to the inside dimension (a) controlled to 0.95<=(e/a)<=1.10 is formed.
