PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively prevent a vehicle from reversing when an internal engine is started by transferring the torque of an electric motor to the internal engine via a driving mechanism. SOLUTION: In a drive control device of a hybrid vehicle where the output torque of an electric motor can be transferred to an internal engine and an output member via a driving mechanism and the output member is connected to a speed regulation mechanism, a start judgment means (step 002) for judging the establishment of a start request for starting the above internal engine due to the output torque of the above electric motor and a reverse prevention means (step 005) for setting to a speed regulation state where the output element of the above speed regulation mechanism does not rotate in a reverse drive direction are provided.
