PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comfortably bathe a person without a possibility of a rapid rise in blood pressure of the bathing person even if he soaks shoulder-deep in hot water by inclining a back face at the front end of a bathtub in which he bathes at a lying on the supine attitude and setting an inclined angle from a bottom surface of this back face to a specified range. SOLUTION: A bathtub is a type that a person can bathe at a lying on the supine attitude. An inclined angle θ from a bottom surface 11 of a back face 121 placed at the front end of a bathtub is 20 deg. to 45 deg., preferably, 30 deg. to 40 deg. and a footrest 111 placed at the rear end of the bottom surface 11 is formed by bending a bottom wall of the bathtub. An armrest 122 is formed by bending a sidewall 12, the height of the upper surface of this armrest 122 from the bottom surface is set to about 18 cm and, further, a pillow 124 is formed in the vicinity of the upper end of the back face 121. Within this bathtub, hot water is put at a depth of 30 to 40 cm, for instance. As a result, because influence of hydraulic pressure is reduced even if a bathing person soaks shoulder- deep, he can comfortably bathe. |
