<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning method and an apparatus for the method capable of easily removing matters to be removed such as smoke and dust contained in air from the air and functioning both in normal operation and is case of fire. SOLUTION: Air containing matters to be removed is sucked into the inside of a closed work space 12 for purification work from an object space 1 to be purified and fine water particles are sprayed in the work space 12 to adsorb the object matter on the fine water particles, so that the object matter falls together with the fine water particles and is removed from the air. After that, the air treated for object matter removal is discharged out of the work space 12. In this case, the air discharged out of the work space 12 may be turned back to the space 1 to be purified or released to atmospheric air (an outside space).</p> |
