<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recycling spent plastics by efficiently cracking and converting them into oil. SOLUTION: This system throws plastics P to be treated into a thermal cracking tank 1, where they are thermally cracked into the vapor under heating by hot wind supplied from a hot wind generating furnace 3 in the presence of an organic catalyst supplied from an organic catalyst tank 4. The vapor is catalytically cracked and reformed in a solid catalyst chamber 5 into lower- molecular-weight compounds, which are condensed by a condenser 6. The condensed cracked oil is partly sent to a tank 7, from which it is delivered as required, and partly to a fuel tank 8, from which it is sent to the hot wind generating furnace 3 as the fuel via a line L8.</p> |
