PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording/reproducing system on multimedia information, which is provided with an effective means realizing the protection function of the copyright of multimedia information and a display function contained in the protection function of copyright. SOLUTION: In the data recording/reproducing system dealing with multimedia information, CPU 2 controls the contents of access operations such as the copying and the preservation of multimedia information being an access object based on identification information which is set in external devices 8 and 9 and a data storage device and access control information. Thus, the effective protection function of the copyright can be realized since the access operation corresponding to the right content of the copyright of multimedia information. |
