摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of comfort of the driver of a hybrid electric vehicle, by providing a heat-exchanging means which controllably associates the heat which is unavoidably generated, which an electric energy source and a traction motor are actuated with the driver's cabin of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In a hybrid electric vehicle, a traction motor 40 and an auxiliary power source (an internal combustion engine, a fuel cell, a primary cooling and heat supplying system) 16 are thermally associated with a first heat exchanger 310. Since heat flows in both directions through these paths depending upon the position of high temperature, it is obvious that the motor 40 and the power source 16 are thermally associated with each other through the heat exchanger 310. At the same time, the power source 16 is thermally associated with the driver's cabin of the automobile through a control valve 318 which is controlled by means of a command control section and a second heat exchanger (heat supplying system for driver's cabin) 312. The other heat source of the vehicle is an AC-DC inverter and the heat storing tank 28h of the inverter is thermally associated with the second heat exchanger 312.
