PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost and compact optical pickup capable of performing tracking control for a plurality of optical paths by converging the sufficient quantity of laser light on the recording surface of a recording medium by a simple structure. SOLUTION: This optical pickup is provided with a light source 104, an optical path for projecting a light from the light source 104 selectively to recording media 112 and 112', a light receiving element 126 for receiving return lights from the recording media 112 and 112' and a galvano-mirror 300 positioned in the optical path for deflecting a reflected light. The galvano-mirror 300 is provided with first and second reflecting surfaces 301a and 301b, the optical path is provided with first and second optical paths 302a and 302b, the first optical path 302a is reflected on the first reflecting surface, and the second optical path 302b is reflected on the second reflecting surface. |
