PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange and inspect object computer peripheral equipment while the power source of the computer is kept in an ON state by turning off buffer circuits and breaking transmission to the peripheral equipment and transmission to the computer when the power supply from the power source for the periph eral equipment to the peripheral equipment is disabled. SOLUTION: When electric power can be supplied from a peripheral equipment power unit to peripheral equipment, a control circuit 210 turns ON respective buffer circuits 220 to 22n, 230 to 23m and 240 to 241 to allow the transmission of an output signal from a computer to the peripheral equipment and the transmission of an output signal from the peripheral equipment to the computer. Further, when the electric power can not be supplied from the peripheral equipment power unit to the peripheral equipment, the respective buffer circuits 220 to 22n, 230 to 23m and 240 to 241 are turned OFF to cut off the transmission of the output signal from the computer to the peripheral equipment and the transmission of the output signal from the peripheral equipment to the computer. |
