FIELD: automatic control and computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: coder used in data processing systems for implementing hardware of digital computers and automatic control facilities has similar coding locations arranged in the form of rectangular array where each coding location has switching cell, two rectifying cells, and two switching control cells for third-signal rectifying cell, right- and left-hand initiation and propagation signal rectifying cells. With input signal of three ones initiated by two extreme ones applied to data input, switching cells yield status values of switching cells through their control leads over polling line. EFFECT: improved number of simultaneously coded signals (up to three signals). 2 dwg
