PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image capable of holding suitable brightness on both of a subject to be noticed and other parts independently of the distance of the subject to be noticed from an image pickup device. SOLUTION: A CDS circuit 4 removes a noise component from light of an image formed on a CCD 3 and amplifies the light, an A/D converter 5 converts the amplified light into a digital signal, a color interpolating circuit 6 converts the digital signal into signals of respective colors, and a gain correction circuit 7 controls the ratio of output levels among respective colors R, G, B. Outputs from the circuit 7 are inputted to an evaluation value operating circuit 8, the operated results of the circuit 8 are inputted to a CPU 9 and a lens driving circuit 10 changes the position of a lenses 1 so that an image is focused on the CCD 3. |
