PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic excellent in ultraviolet ray absorbing effects and having high stability with time. SOLUTION: This cosmetic contains 4-tert-butyl-4'-methoxydibenzoylmethane and a complexed pigment prepared by coating the surface of a particulate titanium oxide with 15-50 wt.% silica and having 0.01-0.2μm average particle diameter. An antisuntan cream, an antisuntan milky lotion, a lipstick, a powder foundation, etc., are cited as the cosmetic.
