摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the operation of transferred ice filling rate of slurry of ice and water correctly without being affected by a flow speed by a method wherein a pressure loss, having the flow speed as a constituting factor, is operated by a specified formula while the factor, related to the flow speed, is cancelled in the stage of operation while a measuring and operating method, which is not affected by the flow speed, is employed. SOLUTION: When the transferred ice filling rate IPF of the slurry of ice and water is measured in an ice heat storage system, a vertical descending pipe 11 and a vertical ascending pipe 12 are provided on the way of a horizontal straight pipe 10 or the transferring pipeline of the slurry of ice and water. Then, the pressure loss ΔPvd per unit length of the vertical descending pipe 11 and the pressure loss ΔPvu per unit length of the vertical ascending pipe 12 are measured in accordance with formulae; ΔPvd=ΔPs+IPF, ΔPvu=ΔPs-IPF which are related to the pressure loss ΔPS and the ice filling rate IPF of the horizontal straight pipe. Next, the pressure loss ΔPs of the horizontal straight pipe 10 is cancelled by the difference of the measured values and an estimated IPF is operated by the value of dividing the same into two equal parts to operate the approximated value of ice filing rate of the transferred slurry of ice and water through an approximation formula.
