PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide method for inspecting a laminated ceramic capacitor that can identify the direction of the laminated ceramic capacitor without fail. SOLUTION: Since a laminated ceramic capacitor 10 has a bulging shape at the part containing laminated internal electrode layers, it is preferable to hold flat side planes using a suction chuck, when mounting the capacitor using the suction chuck. Pressure is applied using a pin 20 to the side planes of a laminate of dielectric layers formed with a ferroelectric material and the internal electrode layers, then the capacitance between external electrodes 18 and measured so as to discriminate the direction of the laminated ceramic capacitor 10. If pressure is applied to distorted side planes, capacitance is decreased. If pressure is applied to flat side planes, the capacitor is increased. |
