PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting device which can maintain high transmitting/ receiving efficiency of radio waves, when a portable radio terminal is connected to an information device to transmit the information by preparing a housing that keeps a transmitting or receiving antenna of the portable terminal in an almost upright state. SOLUTION: When a jack 6 of a portable telephone terminal 5 is put into a plug 4, a housing 3 is able to maintain the terminal 5 in an almost upright state. The direction where a cable 2 is pulled out of the housing 3 is set almost vertical to the direction, where the jack 6 is put into the plug 4. When the housing 3 is put on a horizontal stage, the jack 6 is put vertically into the plug 4, and a cable pull-out part 3a of the housing 3 projects horizontally in an L-shape. |
