PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the maintenance and inspection for a fuel injection valve and ignition plug in cases where a ship propelling device is provided with the cylinder of an internal combustion engine, intake air system member, an exhaust system member, the fuel injection and ignition plug mounted on the upper end of the cylinder. SOLUTION: An intake air system member 25 and an exhaust system member 27 are arranged so as to nip a cylinder 42 by themselves. Each of the upper end sections of the intake air system member 25 and the exhaust system member 27 is positioned above the upper end of cylinder 42. A fuel injection valve 72 is mounted on the upper end of the cylinder 42 to supply fuel 22 in the cylinder 42. This fuel injection valve 72 is arranged in nearly the center of the cylinder 42 in the cross direction of the cylinder 42. In the deck 6 of a hull 3 covering an internal combustion engine 21, the intake air system member 25 and the exhaust system member 27 from an upper section, an opening 19 for inspection is formed vertically opposing to the injection valve 72 and an ignition plug 83. |
