PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a span between bearings and to suppress preload change caused by temperature change to a minimum by forming the bearings for supporting a main shaft at the front and rear end parts of a sub-case, of tapered roller bearings. SOLUTION: A bearing 29 for supporting a main shaft 28 at a partition wall 22 part, and a bearing 30 for supporting the main shaft 28 at the rear end part of a sub-case 21 are respectively formed of tapered roller bearings. A bearing 37 for supporting a countershaft 35 at the parition wall 22 part, and a bearing 38 for supporting the countershaft 35 at the rear end part of the sub-case 21 are respectively formed of tapered roller bearings. A span between the tapered roller bearings for supporting the shafts 28, 35 is therefore shortened, so that the bearings 29, 30, 37, 38 can be miniaturized, and the difference between the same direction dimensional change of the sub-case caused by the temperature change of a transmission and the axial dimension of the shafts 28, 35 is reduced. Preload change caused by the temperature change of the bearings 29, 30, 37, 38 is therefore suppressed to a low degree.
