PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge for an electrostatic photograph which becomes the element of an electrostatic photographic copying machine and which is attachably/detachably attached to a hollow part regulated by module groups engaging with each other. SOLUTION: This process cartridge includes a slender plastic housing having a first side surface, a second side surface 178, and an inside surface, a light receiving member 84 having an image holding surface, a developing member 92 forming a developing gap 220 with the member 84 and realizing flying toner image development on the image holding surface, a driving assembly joined to the member 84, and a gear train joined to the driving assembly and the developing member, and transmitting driving force to the developing member. The gear train has driving resultant force widening an adequate gap 220. The bracket 240 attached to the surface 178 and absorbing the driving resultant force is included. The bracket 240 includes a holding aperture holding a wall and the member 92 at a specified position, keeps the adequate gap 220, and surely develops the toner image whose quality is uniform.
