PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a visitor not to realize the absence of a resident by allowing the resident to communicate with the visitor in real time between an interphone and a telephone set at a visiting plane when the resident is absent. SOLUTION: When a possessor of a telephone system connecting to an interphone line and a telephone line goes out, the possessor sets absence to an automatic answering setting means 4 and designates a telephone number or the like of a telephone set (such as a portable telephone set), by which transfer of a call is desired to a transfer destination setting means 5. When a visitor depresses an interphone 1 and an interphone depression detection section 2 detects it, after a control means 3 recognizes that the automatic answering setting means 4 has set absence, the control means 3 makes a call request to the transfer destination which is set to the transfer destination setting means 5 via a speech start control means 6. When a telephone system 8 receiving the call request sets up a speech state with the transfer destination, the control means 3 closes a SW 7 to connect the interphone 1 and a voice line of the telephone system 8, thereby establishing a speech between the interphone and the transfer destination.
