<p>PURPOSE:To achieve good rising characteristics in a heat generating device for use in an iron, steamer, cooking device, coffee maker etc., wherein gaseous fuel or liquid fuel is burned and its heat of combustion is used as a heat source. CONSTITUTION:A heat generating device comprises a mixing part 14 of fuel gas and air, a combustion chamber 15 provided downstream of the mixing part 14 in which a catalyst layer 17 is closely attached to the inside wall thereof, and a casing having therein the combustion chamber 15. An igniter 20 is provided on an inside wall 15b of the combustion chamber facing a mixed gas inlet port 15a of the combustion chamber. By this construction, rising characteristics of combustion can be improved.</p> |
