PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve response and stability, by driving and controlling a motor by a motor apply voltage command value operated from a feedback control term and a feedforward control term. SOLUTION: A motor-driven power steering equipment 10 is provided with a one-chip microcomputer 9. A torque sensor signal corresponding to torque detected by a torque sensor 1, and a vehicle speed signal corresponding to a vehicle speed detected by a vehicle speed sensor 2 are inputted. On the basis of these signals, a motor current target value operating means 3 operates a motor current target value, in such a manner that the lower the vehicle speed is the larger an assist amount of the motor-driven power steering equipment 10 becomes. On the basis of an operated motor current target value and a motor current detection value detected by a motor current detecting means 7, the feedback control operating means 4 operates a PWM command value. A feedforward control term is obtained from the motor current target value, and the PWM command value is corrected. As a result, response and stability of a motor can be improved. |
