PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a position shift of fractional components as many as a fraction of keys by setting one octave unit within a specific range in terms of key names. SOLUTION: Octave length components for a 76/88 keyboard are repeatedly connected, side by side, in one-octave units to structure a keyboard having 76 or 88 keys, and one octave unit is set within a range of D to C# in terms of key names. Then they are divided at proper places into octave length components which can be used in common to the 76 keys and 88 keys and fractional components; and then the 88-key keyboard has the lowest sound 'A' and the highest sound 'C' in terms of pitch names and the 76-key keyboard has the lowest sound 'E' and the highest sound 'G'. One octave of octave length components is F to E in an allocation (1), C to B in (2), G to F# in (3), A# to A in (4), and D to C# in (5). |
