PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily assign waveform data assigned to a 1st operation element to another by selecting the 1st operation element for a stored musical sound itself or a musical sound that a pointer indicates and performing assignment. SOLUTION: For each pad operation element 30, information showing which storage location of a waveform data storage area corresponding waveform data is stored in is stored and the operation element 30 and waveform data are made to correspond to each other. When bank switching is instructed by operating a bank switching operation element 34, the storage contents of the current bank number storage area are rewritten to a current bank number which is the bank number of a bank whose switching is instructed by the operation of the bank switching operation element 34. Then when a pad operation element 30 is operated, the area having the bank number corresponding to the current bank number of a pad operation element management map and corresponding to the operated pad operation element 30 is referred to according to the current bank number stored in a current bank number storage area. |
