PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle a stub forming position by forming a temporary stub by pressing a regulating prove against it in an operation for regulating characteristics of a circuit board by adding the stub to a main line of a transmission line of a microwave amplifier, executing circuit characteristics measuring and characteristic data recording, thus automatically storing the circuit characteristic data at the time of forming the temporary stub, and analyzing the data. SOLUTION: A temporary stub is formed by forming it of a material having a low permittivity, and pressing a regulating probe 7 in which a conductive material such as a gold of the like is mounted at its end against a circuit. Circuit characteristics are measured in this state, and an automatic recording is conducted. Temporary stub forming data are formed in advance. Thus, the temporary stub formation, circuit characteristic measurement, and characteristic data recording can be executed by automatically pressing the probe 7 against the circuit, and the characteristic data at the time of forming the temporary stub can be automatically stored. |
