PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the correct translation result of a response sentence by referring to grammar information of a question sentence at the time of translating the response sentence to the question sentence. SOLUTION: In the machine translation device, an analysis processing means 3 analyzes whether an inputted original is the question sentence or the response sentence. When the original is the question sentence, a question sentence information extraction means 12 extracts grammar information and it is stored in a question sentence information storage means 6. When the original is the response sentence, a conversion processing means 7 converts the response sentence while referring to grammar information stored in the question sentence information storage means 6 and generates a translated sentence by a generation processing means 8. |
