PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To visibly display a medium information to a display area by providing a display area to a removable recording medium. SOLUTION: A recording apparatus is composed of a head 5 for inputting and outputting information of a removable recording medium 1, a display information update section 4 for writing display information to a display section 2 of the removable recording medium 1 by the thermosensitive system, a display information update control section 7 for controlling the display information update section 4 with the notified operation information and a read and write control section 6 for obtaining access information as the input/output request to the removable recording medium 1, checking this access information, controlling the input/output operation to the removable recording medium 1 via the head 5 or notifying the operation information to the display information update control section 7. Thereby, since the medium information is displayed by the thermosensitive system to the display area of the removable recording medium, the visual checking can be enabled without setting to the input/output apparatus. |
