WIRE WITH INSULATION GAS AND POWER CAPACITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-insulated wire which is connected to a power capacitor so as to have no interference on the volume and usage of the gas-insulated wire in an almost ground surface or an embedded condition. SOLUTION: This gas-insulated wire is provided with a conductor 1A which is disposed in the inside of a jacket 3A filled with pressurized insulation gas. A power capacitor 5 is fixed at the jacket 3A, disposed in the inside of a compartment 3P filled with pressurized insulation gas, and electrically connected to the conductor 1A. The insulating gas which is in the compartment 3P ensures the electrical insulation of the compartment from the power capacitor 5. It is thus possible to maintain the electrical insulation of the gas-insulated wire between the conductor 1A and the jacket 3A in the compartment 3P in which the power capacitor 5 and the conductor 1A are electrically connected.
