PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of an interrupting/restarting process in the case of hand-placement electronic sorting and to restart printing by interruption even in the case of an automatic document feeder(ADF) by performing control for forming an image according to all image data which are stored when an image is selected by interruption when documents are replaced on a platen and read. SOLUTION: When a start key is depressed, a scanner reads one document in (ST21) and stores image data of the document on a hard disk (ST22). When an interruption key on a console panel is depressed (ST24, 27) so as to quit operation halfway in the document input, a 'print start' key meaning the 'memory clear'/'continuation'/printing can be started is displayed on a message display unit. When a 'print start' key is selected and depressed (ST36), it is considered that the read-in process is completed and the image data stored on the hard disk are expanded in a page memory and printed by a printer (ST29). |
