PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a reading defect in an optical reading type information pattern. SOLUTION: In an information recording medium having an optical reading type information pattern in its body, the information pattern is formed on the whole surfaces of the body or formed in a range at least larger than the detection width of optical reading sensors. Namely S1 , S2 are optical reading sensors (hereafter referred to as optical sensors) arranged in a card processor and used for indicating positional relation between a card C inserted into the card processor and the optical sensors S1, S2. Although the fitting positions of these sensors S1, S2 are not restricted within a range of the carrying position of the card C, the sensors S1, S2 are preferably arranged in a state separated from each other through a prescribed distance along a direction rectangular to the carrying direction of the card C. |
