摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of collapse and flying due to breakage of a part or the whole of a capillary or a honeycomb-form thermal storage substance and fluidization of a ball-form thermal storage substance, to simplify mounting/demounting operation (mounting/removing operation) of the thermal storage substance on and from a thermal storage type combustion device, and further to prevent the occurrence of a short pass through elimination of a gap between the outer walls of a capillary and a honeycomb-form thermal storage substance. SOLUTION: This thermal storage substance consists of a set of a plurality of small lumps of thermal storage material block pieces 1,..., 1. The thermal storage material block pieces 1 and 1 are formed integrally with each other in a way that the whole or a part of surfaces adhered to each other at outer walls 1c of the surface parts thereof are adhered together. The adhesive 2 is preferably water glass or a potassium silicate or a mixture of the above and other compositions.
