OPTICAL BUS, ITS MANUFACTURE AND SIGNAL PROCESSOR THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the temporal extension of signal light emitted from an emitting point and to speed up signal light transmission by constituting a sheet-like optical bus on which signal light is made incident, through which signal light is transmitted and from which light is emitted so that a refractive index is continuously reduced towards surface/back face from the center part of a thickness direction. SOLUTION: In an optical transmission layer 11 of an optical bus 10, a refractive index continuously is reduced towards the surface/back face from the center part of a thickness direction and three signal light-incoming/outgoing parts 14 and 15 are provided for booth terminal faces 12 and 13. Signal light which is emitted from light- emitting elements 16 and is made incident on the signal light-incoming/outgoing parts 14 is transmitted through the light transmission layer 11, while a parabola is drawn from the center part of the thickness direction of the light transmission layer 11. Speed becomes high as light approaches closer to the surface/back of the light transmission layer 11 and speed becomes slow as it comes close to the center part. It arrives simultaneously at the signal light-incoming/outgoing parts 15 of an opposite side and the hourly termporal extension of a signal light emitted from the signal/incoming/ outgoing parts 15 is suppressed.
