SOLUTION: This font data editing device reads the associating information number and name out of an HD(hard disk) 9b based on the file name among plural pieces of associating information and stores these read information number and name in a RAM(random access memory) 3. Then a designated screen of the name added to the associating information is displayed and also designated by a KB(keyboard) 5 or a PD(pointing device) 12. The value '1' is added to the associating information number and stored as the associating information number of the associating information file that is stored in an external storage 9. Then the associating information name designated this time, the file number and the file name are stored in an associating information file. This stored file is used when the name of the file which reads the character data is set. |
