PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization, light weight and sophisticated functions for a portable telephone set. SOLUTION: This portable telephone set 1A is provided with a single-action key group for telephone dialing, and a data entry device 1B is provided with a data entry key group to register each telephone number of the single-action key group. The portable telephone set 1A (data entry device 1B) is provided with an infrared-ray transmission reception sections 18(24). A telephone number corresponding to a single-action key entered from the data entry key group of the data entry device 1B is transferred to the portable telephone set 1A through infrared-ray communication between the infrared-ray transmission reception sections 18 and 24 and registered to the portable telephone set 1A. |
