PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data display device which can reach a target web page without taking time and trouble at the time of revisiting the web page which is visited in the past. SOLUTION: A picture data generation means 1b generates picture data corresponding to hyper text data from the display screen of a hyper text. A picture data storage means 1c stores generated picture data. An index information holding means 1d holds index information of hyper text data by associating it with generated picture data. A picture data display means 1e displays stored picture data. A hyper text data display means 1f displays hyper text data corresponding to index information which is held by associating it with picture data when picture data is designated.
