<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cleaning work for a drain pan, and the like, efficiently through simple handling by mounting a lower unit including a drain pan so that it can descend when a plurality of suspension rods having projecting lower part are inserted into an upper unit including a fan and a heat exchanging coil. SOLUTION: A ceiling-hung air conditioner suspended from a frame member, i.e., a beam member 13, has an upper body part 5 being suspended from a fixing metal 14 secured to the beam member 13 by means of four suspension bolts 15 closely to the ceiling. An upper unit U7 including a heat exchanging coil 3 is suspended from the upper body part 6 by means of stay bolts 10. When the air conditioner sucks dust in the air and a contaminated drain pan 4 is cleaned, a nut 8 is unscrewed from a suspension rod, i.e., a bolt 7, and a lower unit U including the drain pan 4 is lowered relatively to the upper unit U7 while keeping the suspended state.</p> |
