<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy the standard of impartiality with regard to connection for which the lowest band is secured in an ATM communication network by giving the right of transmission to a connection indicated by a token when there is a token buffer or connections in accordance with a read control means when there is none. SOLUTION: A control part CON gives the right of transmission to a connection i (i indicates an integer from 1 to n) indicated by a token when there is in a token buffer TB1. When there is no token in the token buffer TB1, the control part CON gives the right of transmission to connections 1 to n in accordance with a read-out reference. A token generation part G generates tokens with an interval of time in inverse proportion to the lowest security band for each connection 1 to n. Then, if the number of tokens stored in the token buffer TB1 is smaller than a permissible number set in advance, generated tokens are stored in the token buffer TB1 and, if the number is larger than the permissible number, the generated tokens are abandoned.</p> |
