<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To designate a destination and a transmission path with a fewer operations and to simplify the operation by a user in the facsimile equipment by which facsimile communication is attained via both routes of a public line network and the internet. SOLUTION: One of a single-action buttons for registering destination information is selected for entering destination, telephone number and an electronic mail address (S10-S40). In the case that the telephone number has been entered earlier, priority is placed on the telephone number as a conventional route of facsimile transmission to the destination, and in the case that the electronic mail address has been entered at first, priority is placed on the electronic main address (S50-S80). Thus, the priority of a transmission path for a conventional facsimile transmission is registered together with a destination individually to each destination, the user has only to depress the single-action button, and the user selects the destination and the route for the conventional facsimile transmission.</p> |
