Machine for separating layers of objects from stack of trays on pallet

The pallet (4) of trays (7) is moved over a base (3) where a matrix of suction pads grasp the bottom of the objects (6) in the lowermost layer (5). The stack is then tilted forwards leaving the lowest layer to be carried away on the conveyor belt (8) after the suction is released. The stack is then tilted upright again and the next layer is separated.
